Every culture has a ritual of smudging.
Using herbs, saps, salt, and other elements, the wise ancients could move energy, invite spirits, or expel negativity with the help of scent.
Our sage collection features smudge essence from the Americas, the Khmers, Egyptians, and the Old Medieval.
Crafted with real sage/salts, burn in your home to cleanse the energies, invite in harmony, or to get rid of unwanted energetic rubbish.
"salt cures just about anything ~ tears, sweat, or the sea." [grandma Terra's notebook]
Measures 41⁄4 x 41⁄4" and includes black plate.
Black Salt - Crafted from grandma's candle spell recipe, we brought it back to life with a little touch of our own. Black salt has long been used for warding off bad spirits & our signature brew of Amber & Vanilla will repel those - negative vibes.
Lavendar Sage - The days are getting longer. Work, school, kids. It's that time when your ready to just forget all of that and Be Here Now. Find something you love to do: drawing, music, painting..it's your time. Light up this pyramid of relaxation & let the stressful stuff go.
White Sage - The house is a mess. The in-laws just left. The cat drug a rodent in. Times like these call for something extra strong. Tidy up a bit, open the doors, and light this powerful candle along with a sage stick. Get that yucky energy out of here.
Dragon's Blood - One of the oldest and most recognizable of all potion ingredients is Dragons Blood. It comes from a tree, that when cut, bleeds the blood of a Dragon. It's great in those times we need to feel empowered. You know, before going to that traffic court case or when your baby momma drops the kids off.
Palo Santo - Everyone keeps telling you, try meditating. You find a quite place, you set up your little pillow, maybe you have a bit of zen music playing, but something is missing. You need that last element to bring the senses into total awareness. This is where Palo Santo comes in. Used by the Incas and other South American tribes as a tool to connect to the divine, going deep.
