I am an author and I would like to schedule a Book Signing at Elysian Fields.
To schedule a book signing at Elysian Fields, your book must first be submitted and approved by our buyer, for inclusion in our inventory. Please read the information under "I would like Elysian Fields to carry my book" and follow the instructions. If we decide to carry your book, we will let you know. After your book is approved, please contact Kim Perkins, Event Coordinator, to schedule a book signing. Is is best to plan 2 to 3 months in advance.
Does Elysian Fields offer classes?
Not at this time. We no longer have our classroom next door an are unable to offer classes as in the past.
Does Elysian Fields do offsite events?
Generally, no. We do not have the staff to cover the store and outside events. Also, because we carry such a wide variety of merchandise, it is very hard to create a small area that is representative of the store.
How can I become a reader at Elysian Fields?
We are always open and interested to interview tarot, psychic, astrology, Rune, crystal, Numerology, and other modality readers for possible inclusion into our Reader Program. If you are an experienced, professional reader, we welcome you to set up an initial interview with Kim Perkins, Event & Reader Coordinator. The first 30 minutes of the interview are for you to provide a reading to Kim. If you both decide to go forward after the reading, she will explain the Reader Program and give you an information booklet. Please note that all readers are independent contractors and are responsible for obtaining their own city and county licenses (information discussed at initial interview) of approximately $300 per year.
